2025 Spring Tests

We will be holding our Spring tests in Rochester, WA on May 17 & 18. We are offering four tests — two on Saturday, and two on Sunday.

The Test Co-Chairs are Jeff Dairiki and Dix Dixon. The Test Secretary is Sandra Distefano.

Entry Limits!

Entries in the Senior Earthdog and Master Earthdog classes will be limited to 30 entries total (between the two classes) per test.

We now accept entry payment via PayPal

It is now possible to pre-enter the tests via email:

• E-mail your signed and scanned [entry form] to entries@psec-earthdog.org. The Test Secretary will then e-mail back an invoice which you may pay using a credit card, Venmo, or Paypal. Entries are not considered complete until paid.

We are also now able to accept in-person credit card payments for day-of-test entries!

Novice Earthdog

Note that at these tests we are offering the Novice Earthdog class. NE is very similar to IQ (10-foot, one-turn tunnel), except that neither the judge nor the handler may help the dog after the release. Novice Earthdog is a titling class: two passes under two different judges earns a NE title.

At our tests, dogs who have not yet earned an Earthdog title may be entered in any combination of IQ, NE, and/or JE.

Camping

Overnight camping and RV/trailer parking are available, RSVP required. Please note that there are no hookups. (Quiet hours — no generators — ­from 10:00 pm – 6:00 am please! Generators should have a "Genturi" or similar snorkel to direct their exhaust upwards and away from other campers.)

Pot-Luck Lunch!

We will host “augmented” pot-luck lunches on both days.

(There will also be informal Friday and Saturday evening pot-luck suppers on the Lake’s back porch.)

Board and General Meetings

A brief club Board Meeting and General Meeting will be held after the conclusion of judging on Saturday, May 17, 2024. All are welcome.
